In 1985, Fred Hadad started Northeast Building Services with a simple idea: deliver commercial construction the way it should be delivered — finished on time, built right, and stood behind. Four decades later, that idea is still what defines us.

We are a family-owned commercial general contractor based in Kirtland, Ohio, serving Cleveland and the surrounding communities We specialize in interior commercial construction — tenant improvements, office buildouts, retail interiors, and renovations for the landlords, architects, and tenants who have made Northeast Ohio their home.

What sets us apart isn't a slogan. It's the work.

Our in-house carpentry team has been with us for years — many of them for most of their careers. Framing, drop ceilings, doors, finish carpentry, custom millwork — the trades that define the look and feel of a finished space are performed by craftsmen who work directly for us, not rotating subcontractors. That's how we hold quality consistent from one project to the next, and why landlords and architects keep calling us back.

For the trades we don't self-perform — plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire protection — we work with the same Northeast Ohio subcontractors we have known and trusted for decades. These are relationships built over hundreds of projects, not vendor lists assembled job by job.

Today, the company is led by Fred alongside his son Jason, who is taking the next step in carrying the business forward. The transition is intentional. The standards are not changing. The same people you have always worked with are still here, doing the same work, the same way.

We have never run a paid advertisement. Every project we have built in forty years has come from a referral, a repeat client, or a relationship. We intend to keep it that way.
